Mission Statement

At Micayla Mary Photography, my mission is to capture the truth, beauty, and goodness of the Creator through His creation.

I wholeheartedly believe that my job is far more than taking photographs. It is my daily prayer that the Lord would allow me to see through His eyes every time I pick up a camera. I desire to capture the beauty of my clients in such a way that when you look at your photos you think, “Wow. This is how the Lord sees me.”

Pillars

Focusing on the Sacrament

Your wedding day is not a photo-shoot. It is the grace-filled day on which you enter into a lifelong covenant with your spouse, joined together by God. Truly, it is a day when Heaven comes a little closer to Earth. As a Catholic wedding photographer, I seek to capture the sanctity and holiness of your day.

Capturing the Real You

I’m not here to put a camera in your face and tell you to sit still and smile. I want you have fun and be yourself. I’ll give you some poses, but I want to capture those real candid moments you didn’t even know were happening.

Providing Professionalism

With several years of photography experience and top-of-the-line equipment, I have truly put my heart and soul into developing my skill. I care deeply about the quality of the work I deliver to my clients and intend to give you nothing but the best. Every photograph is thoughtfully captured and edited with precision.

under the patronage of Saint Pope John Paul II

In a society that celebrates hook-up culture and devalues the Sacrament of Marriage, Saint Pope John Paul II reminds us of the dignity of marriage as a lifelong covenant of man and woman joined together by God.

As a theology student, I have a great love and passion for Saint Pope John Paul II’s teachings on the Theology of the Body. JPII was greatly influential in promoting teachings on the dignity of the human person, the Sacrament of Marriage, and the family. His teachings have had a profound impact on my life and have inspired me to capture the beauty of marriage as a Catholic wedding photographer. I pray often for his intercession not only in my life, but especially in my work of capturing the Sacrament.
